Hello, I’m Maxx Segrue, a Ridgecrest-based photographer serving East Kern County, including Ridgecrest, China Lake, Inyokern, and the surrounding areas. I specialize in portrait and product photography, with a focus on capturing authentic, unscripted moments.

Photography has been part of my life since late 2019, when I took my first class, and it’s become my favorite way to connect with people and preserve meaningful moments. My style blends cinematic and moody tones with a lifestyle-driven, natural approach to shooting, whether that’s a portrait session, a product shoot, or a big milestone event.

I’m also actively looking to connect with East Kern County photographers who need a second shooter or photography assistant for weddings, events, or portrait sessions. If you need an extra set of hands or a backup camera, I’d love to help out.

Beyond photography, I’m drawn to storytelling in pretty much every form. Whether I’m buried in a book, deep into a video game’s narrative, or playing in a tabletop RPG campaign, I’m always chasing that same feeling of getting swept up in a good story. I think that’s part of why photography clicked for me too, since every session is really just another story waiting to be told.
